Yes it is a pretty harsh reminder on just how delicate life really is. I posted this as a learning experience so it does not happen to any one else. I am sure i am not the first

Ya it's a good reminder. My lunare wrasse would hang out in my koralia when it was shut off, I always had to check it before turning it back on. I did forget to check once but thankfully the time I forgot, I got lucky and he wasn't in there. Definitely can happen easily enough unfortunately

Sorry to hear that! Mystery wrasses are so beautiful. To lose a buddy that you have for so long is hard, but to have had a hand in its demise is devastating! Thanks for the reminder. Don't have a vortex yet, but maybe one day I will, and I'll remember this. RIP wrasse.

Sorry for your loss of a beautiful fish..
It's definately something we all need to be aware of.... I had never really given it a second thought until a couple months ago. While I had powerheads off I watched my ember blenny go and perch inside a powerhead.. It freaked me out to think I could have chopped him up.... Now I double if not triple check... |
