Default Open Water Scuba Diving Lessons

I am putting together a group buy for Padi Open water scuba classes.
The regular price is 299.99+
If we can get a group together I can get the course for $259.99/person

The class will have 4 evening classes
2 pool dives and 2 ocean dives

The classes and dives are flexible and we will try to accommodate everyone's schedule.

Snorkel, Fins and mask are not included.
A discount is included with paid course entry.

If you are worried about the cold, you can upgrade to a drysuit for $99
and you also get an extra day in the pool to teach you how to use your dry suit. This add on course is required if you want to rent drysuits in the future.

Afterward I'd also like to plan some group dives with various Canreef members.

this is a great sport to get into - yes it also will chew up the cash alittle bit getting started but it is unreal what you see and the feeling after a dive is great - i have been diving for over 15 years - was an assistant instructor for 5 of those and had more fun on outings than you can imagine. Caution - if you get started and see our colours in cold water it will spark the interest to start a cold water tank = this equals more money. (no metal halides required though)

Cheers
Rich

ryan

you can get dive classes here in edmonton threw ocean sports down on white ave. when i took mine it was done at the grant mac. campus downtown. then the open water dives were done in jasper. dont know the price of the course as i did mine 6yrs ago. it is well worth every penny. but i also reomend having a dry suit as compared to a wet suit as i took my open water in september... the temp we recorded in the mountain fed lake was fc........ f@#$%&g cold. but still the best feeling i have ever had.

Wow, now if I could get a response from somebody local
Yeah, I remember when courses were $175 too. I kept asking my buddies to go with me and it was always yeah sounds great, lets go next month.
Next month never came now the regular price is $299-$350 at the local shops. If somebody knows of classes cheaper let me know.

I paid $200 for my open water course, and then 250 for my advanced open water. It's so worth it to get into, just the experience of being underwater and seeing the fish. Although I've never been diving in the ocean, it's still fun. I also highly recommend the dry suit, it's all worth it when you get out from a dive and are still in your dry sweat pants and tshirt and everyone else is frozen.

I have already taken my Padi open water. The coarse is fun and lets you see a different part of B.C. that will just blow your mind. It also takes your next Sunny Vacation ( i.e. mexico ) to a whole new level.

The cool thing is ...... you all have one thing in common already ( who needs an ice breaker ) and to share a new adventure amongst eachother is life changing.

I would love to do this with you but will have to wait till level 2. Just let me know when. lol.

For those who are thinking about it, DO IT !!!!!!! You'll understand why after your first dive.

Cheers
