Default Reefer 170 crack

I woke up this morning and found an 8 inch crack on the side panel of my Reefer 170. It's not yet leaking but I'm kind of freaking out. I'm thinking of placing all my corals and livestock into a brute for the time being as I'm scared it will break, has anyone done this?

I would do whatever u have to do to drain that thing rather than risk a major mess
Even if you have to start over better than a tank breaking on ur floor

Agree. Drain before the water pressure causes complete integrity failure and all that SW hits your floors. Take it from someone who experienced a complete tank failure (220g + 90g sump).

I have moved everything into a new tank and will be having a custom tank build to fit on the 170 stand.

If anyone wants a free red see reefer 170 tank (just the glass tank). It still holds water but has a weird crack on the inside of the glass on one panel that I wouldn't trust. Maybe you're able to fix it!

I ended up ordering a replacement from Concept aquariums, was cheaper then the $670 us plus shipping that Red Sea wanted. Everything was moved to a new frag tank I bought in the mean time, told the wife I needed a place to put everything while waiting
