Default Nitrate Test Kit

What’s everyone using for nitrate test kits?

Currently I’m using RedSea but the low end resolution isn’t there in my opinion.
The tanks nitrates are just barely detectable with RedSea, most of the time I record 0ppm.

Since it’s time for a new kit, it’s time to gather opinions.

TIA

Usually it is Red Sea (pro) or Salifert that people use for Nitrate test.

Dont bother with API, they are crap.

Yeah I knew about api, used them years ago for fresh tanks.

I’ve only ever used Salifert and RedSea for marine.

Personally I like the Nyos nitrate text kit. But would need to order in

Where I live everything is ordered in.

I’ll look into the Nyos kits. Thanks for the suggestion.

I find the nyos much easier to read than the salifert

After researching the Nyos and RedSea Pro options, either will likely work for my tank and the bottomed out nitrate numbers it’s been at for almost a year.

I should clarify I’m using the standard RedSea kit atm, not the RedSea Pro.

I’m not a geezer yet, but the ease of reading results becomes increasingly important every year.

Thanks for the replies folks.
Stay healthy!
