dont take this the wrong way.... but why would someone buy this when they can just but an AI sol for 400 bucks and have a manufactured fixture with more power.

im not just selling the lights. you still need a controller to dim the sol. so about 500

so for 480 you get a nice looking light.
Has 3 colors, all individually controlled.
Can setup timers and ramp up and down each color.
Can be controlled by a controller.
The total power output is higher.
Comes with a warranty (which is amazing by the way)

im not trying to be rude, just trying to be realistic with you. i dont think you'll find anyone to pay 400 dollars for a DIY light

But I'm only asking 350 for light which by the way comes with a hanger so add that to the price of sol, and both the blue and white are seperatly dimmable. Asking 400 for everything else I have left.

I hate to be a broken record, but I couldn't even sell this for $250 (That was making a bit of profit not counting time to put it together) and I was going to build batch runs if there was more interest.

I think if you were to clean up the fixture and make the wiring more safe / hidden people will take more interest. Its a tough market for LED's out there after AI dropped their price. Good luck to you!

its not worthless Troni, just the sell price even with the upgrades on modularled is way less, plus its slightly used and yes wires are exposed, I think they are just trying to be realistic with you, you wont see $350 for that, even with the mounting arm and chaeto, etc. you also have to take into consideration, that not everyone and their neighbor has a tank that this light will work for. as said above, maybe try cleaning the wiring up a bit, and see what happens? part of having a SW tank is that its pleasing to the eye
good luck with the sale, and I'm not trying to be a jerk sorry your having troubles with the sale

edit

I couldn't even sell a brand new never used 4 bulb t5 unit(48") with 8 extra bulbs and a digital timer (retail $550.00) for $275! I was pretty ticked about that lol..

As a seller I would also be concerned with liability. If there was a fire, or someone got shocked, you could be sued. As you must well know, that fixture is not certified and does not meet any type of electrical standard in Canada. Why not sell it as "parts", and let someone else "manufacture" the fixture.

Solutions are easy. The real difficulty lies in discovering the problem.
