Default My newest addition.... L46

For you reefers not in the know
He's a Zebra Pleco Hypancistrus Zebra (L46)
They are an endangered species in the wild, Only available captivley bred.

Here's a couple shots in the acclimation bucket




And a couple in his QT/Shrimp breeding tank.

I had one a few years ago. What is the going price on them now?

I heard they were back up in the $200- $300 range again.

That's about right.
There's no breeders around here and they had to be shipped in.

there's was a breeder here in edmonton that had some babies for sale a couple months ago. i think a baby sold for $60 or something around there.

Beautiful fish! I had hoped to have one when I was keeping fresh water tanks but could never find one. Very very nice!
