Need help to id pls
Trying to see what he is cause I forgot the name oceans Called him

It looks like a lookdown they get to around 2 feet in size and I believe will eat smaller fish.

The easy thing to do is call your LFS. Probably would have known by now.
I always worry seeing a post like this as it means you do not know anything about this fish other than what the LFS told you. It is always best to do your research before buying. Good luck. Hopefully it's not a beast like the look down!

Seem ultra peaceful love eating shrimp and meat food won't touch pellet so even if It is I like him will keep him healthy till he is big enough for a new home

No it don't but I have the filefish and it does look alike but the tail is way different and color is way different
