Exclamation ***URGENT***FoxFace has swollen stomach

Hey folks,

The other night I noticed my large fox face has developed a large swollen belly. He is now struggling to swim around and has no interest in eating. I have scoured the web with little to no information. Is there anything I can do to help him?

I am having a hard time catching a photo as he has now become skidish but I'm very concerned.

Anyone has this happen? This literally came out of nowhere.

150g Reef with 40g+ sump.

ALK: 9.4dkh
Cal:450ppm
NO3: 2-5ppm
PO4: 0ppm (Hanna)
Mag 1400ppm
Sal: 1.026.

How'd he do? Was it just a blockage that passed?

Funny you ask... he must have had a blockage and it's since passed. His stomach is back to normal and he is swimming around normal in the tank and buyoancy is no longer an issue. Glad he pulled through as he has been with me since my first 75g tank.

Make sure he's getting lots of algae in his diet to help prevent this in the future.

Absolutely. Of course it happens 4 days before we were leaving for Las Vegas. I'm just glad he's back to Normal and hope it doesn't happen again.
