Just a couple short power blips on Sunday, despite the raging storm out there.

But my Shaw internet, TV and phone were down all day Mon and just came up this afternoon (Tues). This is the 2nd multi day Shaw outage in 6 months (while the power was up). Not sure what their excuse is, but next time Telus offers me a good promotion, I will seriously look at it.

I would phone shaw and complain
I have done that and they gave me a day's cost back on the monthly bill

NOOOOOO telus is beyond terrible
i cant wait until my contract is up. Ive already told them to cancel the day the 3 year is done dont even bother calling to confirm.
the reason they offer all these "extras" is because the service itself is so sub par compared to shaw.

very true and Im in the same boat. he bought it for camping

ORRRRR just call your local neighborhood gas fitter *cough cough* and put in a natural gas backup generator and never worry again!

Really? A $500 portable genny is much more affordable than a NG gen set.

Speaking of power outages. Mine as out for about an hour today. My whole tank is on a ups. After about 20 min I flicked off everything but the return pump. And she lasted the run of it all. My ace to re-wire my switch Bar so just the return of mp10 is on ups
