Default Acrylic Rods

Does anyone know where you find acrylic rods in Alberta for doing aquascaping?

I went to Canadian Tire and found the signs used to mark ditches etc when it snows. They have a little flag on the top, attached to an acrylic rod. They have various lengths and thicknesses. Worked perfect.

Acrylic rods will get brittle over time in salt water and there are reports of them breaking. Use fiberglass, home depot has fiberglass driveway markers in various thicknesses and colours. Completely reef safe

I think nearly impossible to break in a reef tank environment, although the thin ones are a little more flexible that the thicker ones. But it also depends on how much weight they're holding and how long the piece is.

I picked up a couple fiberglass fence post rods from peavy mart there about 1/2" by 4ft and I think I paid $2 for them

Yes, fibreglass driveway markers from Canadian Tire are what I used, not acrylic. Still good and strong after two years.
