I thought I tried Acklands, but I'll go try again. I did try Fabio -only threaded sch80.

they sell grey slip valves here, don't say if there sch 80 though. I have ordered from these guy before good quality stuff and fairly cheap.

Thank you for the link, I will look into this avenue. They don't realy need to be SCH80, they just need to be grey and red.

Have you tried Bartle & Gibson? The one in Edmonton north side had them on the shelf when I was looking but opted out due to a bit pricy.
