Default Bad hair day?

My frogspawn has been having a series of "bad hair days" for about a week. This was one of my first corals when I started into salt two years ago. It started with about 5 heads and was 3" in diameter and now its 30ish heads and about 8" in diameter. It at one point had a large clear bubble that formed that was there for a month or so, then went away. I just figured the bubble had something to do with the splitting process.I never did find out for sure if thats what the bubble was. This is clearly not the same as it appears to have loose strands. Im not sure whats going on here? Any ideas?

Those cute little loose strands are sweepers that will kill anything that touches them (well not quite but it gives you the idea they sting )

The coral either feels threatened or is looking to make some room so it can grow. They can get longer then that so you might want to move any other corals down flow from it

Oh great! Objects in picture are closer than they appear. That acro behind the frogspawn is actually only a couple inches away. The acro still looks fine but looks like I have some re-arranging to do...or maybe some fragging.

You should see the sweeper tentacles my galaxea coral puts out! I got it as a frag of about 3 heads, now its about 35ish, and sweepers can exceed 3 inches!
