Default Trochus Snails Reproducing

Hi all,

Fairly new to the Hobby and have had my reef set up for around a year now. I purchased some Trochus snails a ways back because I was told they could flip themselves over and that they were a good hard working snail. Well they seem to also be a very sexually active snail LOL. I have so many now that I cannot count (Not exaggerating when I say a couple hundred babies) and wondering if this will cause me any issues?

I guess it kind of already caused me a little issue with my skimmer and there being so many inside the pump that it was whistling so I had to stop it and take them all out.

Is this a good thing? Has anyone experienced the same thing and what did you do?

It's a good thing bud. I wouldn't worry about it too much and if you get way too many just take it to Jl and trade it in for credits or better idea yet I can take some off your hands.
