Default Just ordered an Olympus Tough TG-5

Don't care that the TG-6 is coming out next month - this camera has all I need and the price was right.
Sooo looking forward to great pics compared to my old Sony DSC-WX5 with it's limited macro range - plus the fact it doesn't like humidity and has given me issues because of this.
Can't wait to take some macros.

My wife has been buying estate jewellery and the macro/microscope feature will come in very handy

Looking forward to a vacation soon so we can snorkle and get some awesome shots

I have had one for a couple years no complaints great for underwater and macro shots.

Only problem I have with it is it doesn't come with a lens cap. Had to purchase the lens adaptor to get a lens cover. Also purchased a yellow/orange filter to reduce blue in pictures.

I like mine, had to buy the adapter ring for a lens cover though as noted:

Macro mode is fun with small inverts.

Would 1 of you guys please show me a link of the adapter you bought?
I've looked on the web but not sure which to buy - 1 style apparently just 'sits on top' of the lens; kinda useless.

Thanks guys

That ring comes with a cover. It's $20 at a place like Kerrisdale cameras.

Hi Greg

The product is called Olympus CLA-T01 Adapter Ring. You need this ring if you want to buy lens, filters or accessories. Be sure to buy the Olympus one it is only about $20
