i saw the dragon goby... it's wicked! pretty active... and wasn't aggresive towards any of the other tank mates!

try a pearly jawfish. i had one with loads of inverts and other fish and was totally dosile. sooo much fun to watch. i called mine dozer, because he was always working.

I have tried 2 yellow headed jawfish, none of them lasted over 4 hours.

Will never buy a jawfish again.
also, my tank is open top, so risky to have one of these documented carpet surfers in there anyways...

what I'd really love os a blue spot, but considering my luck with the chapefr variety, I cant bring myself to try my luck with one.

Dragon goby could be a good alternative though.

Nope, very simple set up.
Just a regular 5.5, with an 18w Coralife 50/50 cf light (cost me 30$) and a rio skilter which cost me (20$)...
I made a drip, as evap was pretty bad, by just putting a 2L coke bottle with a couple of tubes drilled into the lid (one for siphon and one with a ball valve for the dripping) in a cupboard above/behind it to keep salinity and water level in check.

added a dsb and some chaeto and a tiny powerhead I had from an old freshwater filter and now I have a nice little system for about 50 bucks, not including the tank (which might run you about 20-30$).
