Default LF - Magnet Glass Cleaner - Calgary

Currently have a Mag Float and have had enough. Looking for a wooden Tiger Shark or equivalent.
If you're willing to sell, let me know how much.

Noob question for you: what's your beef with the Mag Float ?

I got 2 with the used setup I bought and aside from being a little tired, they seem to do the job.

The beef is….
My current display tank boasts a glass thickness of around half inch. The Mag float, not unlike Team USA Hockey just isn’t a performer. It’s constantly falling off the glass and not clearing any “stuck on” algae.
If you ever get a chance to look at a Tiger Shark algae cleaner on a fellow reefers tank, you’ll notice they stick together as well as the Gold and Silver Medal winning 2 person women’s Canadian bobsled teams.
Enjoying these Olympic refrences?
Hope this helps

Good to know !

Being a noob, I've never owned anything with more than 1/4" thickness so I wouldn't know.

Of course, now you've got me thinking about making my own since rare earth magnets are easy to get (and cheap) and I've got lots of scrap plastic around, and the piece that goes in the tank just uses a kind of velcro as the scrubber...

Could make your own for a few bux. Hmmm.....
