Hey Wayne, tank is coming along nicely. I see you're close to your 25 frag limit....

Thanks! According to Rich and Peter, so long as the corals on glued down to the rocks they are no longer cosidered as frags (no plugs). hehe...

How about an update on yours?

Not much new to update really but things are chugging along and with my regular routines in place, corals are colouring up, slowly but surely and all the fish are now happy swimming and living together. I did pick up more clean up crews... three conches, couple of cleaner shrimps, a pair of cleaner wrasses and a yellow coris wrasse. For hardware, added two WP40s... these guys can really push a lot of water and the waves it can create is very impressive for the money. Also picked up a apex energy bar 8 to make my system a bit more automated.
I have also had Industrial Plastics to make a custom top down box for me. The box is 14 x16 and 2.5 inches deep.

Should have made one from the beginning instead of spending good money on the Eshopps look down viewer.

Here are some pics taken with the new top down box...

That top down box was money well spent. Looks great.

Those wp40's really do put out some great flow. The waves you had going the other day were just awesome.
Corals are looking good. Keep on chugging.

Thanks, guys! The custom box cost me $90 which covered all the materials, glue, labor, cutting and tax. This box would be equal to 4-5 of the Eshopps look down viewer and with the price of $34 plus tax why not invest $35-$50 more in one that is customized to your tank. Industrial Plastics was awesome. The cutting and gluing is all clean. Sure, i could have tried doing it myself however I would have spent more money, wasted more time and the box glue smudges all over.
