A pretty neat tool for sure, interesting to see that Ecotech was so conservative on there flow values required for SPS/LPS. Although the values are nice for calculation the program doesn't account for placement of power heads nor structure that could impede flow.

Add those in some how and you have the perfect tool.

This calculator needs a little tuning. As in shapes of tanks. Also I run 2 MP40's and will be adding an MP10 tomorrow but it will not allow me to add it with the 40's

That's because it thinks an mp10 won't work on half inch glass

After these posts I was playing around with the calculator a bit, but can't seem to replicate the issues in regards to not being able to add pumps;

3/8" thickness with MP40's and MP10's in the calculation

1/2" thickness with MP40's only in the calculation

1/2" thickness with MP40's and MP10's in the calculation

I will pass along your suggestions, but please make sure to send your feedback on the tool to EcoTech directly, through the link at the bottom of the page aswell.
