Default Algea

Just wondering if anyone has had this type of algea and how they got rid of it. Dichotomaria marginata algae. I also have another type of algea/seaweed in my tank that is redish purple in color, half an inch long, thin needles with attaching stems, not sure what it would be, but spreads fast, any help on ideas of getting rid of it would be muchly appreciated also.

thanks.
