Default Refugium

So I have a section in my sump for a refugium but I really dont want the light shining through causing algae growth elsewhere in my sump. Is there something I can line the section of my sump with so it keeps the light in only that section. Black acrylic would work but it's expensive and hard to find. Any cheap ideas.

Do you really need that much acrylic to block out that section?? I would have thought that for a refugium section in a sump you could probably find enough pieces in the scraps bin at IPP acrylics in builder park.

Or, paint regular acrylic and cut it yourself to size ?

Could even coat the pane with black silicone.

Why can I not find this IPP place online? Just trying to find an address.
