Default Zoa pox

Alright.

Found out I've got zoa pox like a mother in my tank. 3/4 of my frags have it and never noticed before cuz nothing was ever closed.

I was blowing sand and just cleaning off the plugs with the turkey baster and noticed it on one plug.... Then another and another. F****

Need some tips and pointers from those who've had to deal with it. So far I've freshwater dipped them last night and today for 5-8mins. I'm being told to scrape the spots off so tomorrow ill dip them again and try with a toothbrush to get them off.

Any help will be appreciated cuz it's killing be to see how many are infected

Don't throw anything out, take a small tank and set up a coral quarantine using a basic tank, almost any light and an job filter, I've heard a lot of people have luck with Furan 2 dips

Here's an article on it with some info

http://www.zoaid.com/articles004.php

Check out the write up about half way down on treating with Furan 2

Furan2 work great, and it also worked for me to safe SPS colonies from RTN.

Set up a quarantine tank like spit.fire suggests.

Read somewhere to use little wedges of magic eraser. A little easier on the zoa's. Just make sure you use the plain one with no soap or anything added.
