Default Majestic Angel feeding

Just purchased a beautiful M.A. (21/2 to 3') I have him in a 33g quarentine tank at the present time, been their since Friday. When ready it will go in a 220g. The fish is shy of course and not eating all that well. Its swims around and darts behind rocks when necessary. Picks at the ground and at the rocks but leaves most of the food that I have fed alone, he seems interested though. I have tried myisis, fresh shimp with garlic, flake, very small pellets, I also tied nori to a rock which he has picked at but usually spits it out. Am I rushing him, should I try some other food? He was eating at the fish store, not sure how much.

Live clams usually work, fish markets or superstore carry them. Break them open and stick one in the tank.
