the one most hobbyists use is the Apogee meter.

I know of two on the market: LiCor and Apogee.

The LiCor is lab grade and costs almost US$1,000 the last I checked. The Apogee, by all accounts, is pretty darn close to the LiCor in terms of performance and clocks in about US$250. Guess which one hobbyists use? (Darn, Vic already gave the answer away ).

for cost wise if these are the two choices for sure the Apogee unless someone comes with with a better brand for near the same price.
