Thumbs up Product highlight Tropic Marin coral food how to

Highlighting today the Tropic Marin products

Reef Coral Snow
Pro coral Zooton
Pro Coral Phyton

There are two recipes, one is with all 3 and the other is minus the Tropic marin pro coral Reef Snow, but for best results in binding the foods or coral uptake we do recommend using the Coral snow recipe.

Basic recipe
1 x scoop of Phyton and Zooton

Mix in a small amount of tank water until full dissolved

At this point either add to the tank....

Or add the coral snow....

To mix up coral snow I prefer to make up 7 days worth in advance as it can be stored at room temp providing you do not add the zooton or phyton to it.

Mix 7 heaped scoops of Pro coral reef snow into the 700ml of RO water, it must be RO water.

Leave for 2 hours stirring occasionally, it needs this time to dissolve.

The final result will be like a weak mixture of wallpaper paste

To add your pre prepared dose of Pro-Phyton and Pro-Zooton, take 100ml of prepared pro coral reef snow and add mix with the pre prepared zooton and phyton, allow to stand for 30 minutes allowing the coral snow to bind with the zooton and phyton.

You now have a potent food source for your corals where results will be instant in polyp extention. This shot taken within minutes of adding to the sump outlet chamber!
