Default Moon light???

Curious what people do? Do you run one all night? Or do you have a period of complete darkness? Not sure what's better I prefer always on of course so I can view late at night

I usually have mine on for a bit after lights out, and a bit before lights on. Then at night it's usually dark.

Sometimes my YWG gets antsy and turning on the moonlights keeps him from messing around my powerheads and bothering my clowns, so I will keep them on once in a while, but since the tank is in my room I usually have them off for most of the night.

Ok that's one for turning them off. My led lets me set a level of brightness

I leave them on, mine are hooked up to a controller that varies intensity depending on moon-cycles.

Not sure how much fish and coral actually care, the fish SEEM to like some light, but at the very least I like the look.
