Yup, but the a few areas that are outside of the city get Kamloops Water, rayliegh WAS going to use Kamloops City water even though it is not part of the city.

And yeah, armstrong is quite a ways out -- It *might* be worth looking at Chase and Turtle valley area (about 45-60 mins out). Nice lake town.

One of the downside to most of these rural areas -- No high speed internet. A lot are dial up and only get 25kbps at best. Just something to consider when you decide on what area.

I am a Kamloops reefer myself, I moved back from Langley after about 4 years living in the lower mainland and have not regretted it once in the 1.5 years. I would reccommend black pines its out past westsyde but there are big views, big lot size and close ammenities. I live in bachelor heights, chose to stick closer to town for commuting reasons, though I often laugh at what is called "rush hour" here.
