There's a discus breeder (Rick) out in Maple Ridge who grows out and sells some live brine shrimp. At least he was a while ago.

http://stores.canadianaquafarm.com/

You can try contacting him to see if he still has live brine shrimp available.

I can hatch some out if you need, I usually give them to my mandarin as a treat.

I feed live blackworms exclusively to my fish. They are magical. Fish have been happy and healthy ever since I started a couple months ago. A guy brings them in from California.

It would seem that baby brings would have the most nutrients. Think about getting a golden head goby again.

The live food seemed to do well for it and everyone else. I'm open to other types of live foods like black worms if there was a way for me to order them.

Ideal situation would be if someone could show me how to hatch my own brines.

You know hatch a man some brings feed his fish for a day or two, teach him how to hatch and.....

pretty simple really, all you need are eggs, a plastic bottle, bubbler and salt water, eggs hatch in 24 hours, plenty of kits out there.
Another option is triggerpods
