Question Options?

I have a file fish that eats apt. And a sailfin that is a pig for anything green. I had a little green algae on one rock and he ate it right up. So needless to say I have zero of both in my tank. (260gal)

I'm wondering if I put in some if this rock if they would just eat off all the bad stuff?

Or am I just asking for trouble?

Any options?

Mostly everything gone now except for the rock. I'm going to keep them in the dark for a week or so and see if that kills off the algae. Hopefully it does the trick. I've cleaned most of there algae off the rock anyways. It's not that hard.

So, anyone who doesn't mind aptasia or has something that eats it, this is a bargain at $1/lb.

A good scrub with a tooth brush, a quick peroxide bath is all I did with some of mine.
