Default powerhead reversed flow

I just had a second aquaclear powerhead reverse flow... is there anything that can be done to fix this? ...besides buy a better brand...

Some AquaClear powerheads are made so that when you slide an adjustment thingy they will reverse the flow. The green/red slider adjusts the flow rate, and the yellow slide adjusts whether it's regular flow or reverse flow. Are you sure you didn't slide the yellow reverser thingy?

Yah i am sure, i think it has something to do with the metal shaft that holds the magnet getting fatigued and alowing it to touch the sides. It churns up a lot of froth but doesn't create any flow. I am just going to buy a new one tomorrow, half the flow for one night shouldnt create too much of an impact.
