Default colt coral

We recently aquired a nice sized colt coral.I suspect he was recently attached to the rock.problem is he has been in the tank for over a week and has not opened up. Is he just not attached firmly enough? Any suggestion?

mine did the same thing until i ran some carbon plus put it in a high flow area. Someone else told me that they can get involved in some 'chemical warfare' with other corals when they are introduced. The higher flow helped quite a bit and then a day or so after i added the carbon it really opened up.
