Default How to set up my sump

Ok this is a photo of my sump this is how the guy at the lfs told me to set it up thought i would get your guys opinions if it's right then i'll leave it but if its wrong nows the time to fix it since i'm still doing my leak check and running all the equipment. On the inlet from the overflow boxes comes in to the first chamber on the left, flows down onto the filter sock type material, this is held up by egg crate, then drops into the empty space below, flows through the first baffle and into the bio ball filter type pad stacked 3 thick and are about 1.5 inches thick, then flows through there to the big last chamber and the skimmer does its thing in there as well as the return pumps take it back to the main tank. My question is do i have the filter media set up right what am i missing?

I would put the skimmer before the bubble trap.

Me, I'd get rid of the filter material and just use socks as easier to maintain, probably don't need the bio-ball if have LR. Idea of baffles is to keep away micro-bubbles from your return pump so they don't go back into the display, can you have your skimmer discharge back to the left side where the filter media is now?

In the first chamber? after the blue media there is no more baffles or areas it's just a long area.
