The whole lagoon area in Aitutaki all the way to One Foot Island and beyond was all murky. Couldn't see 6 inches. That was in 1998 though...maybe things have changed.

Convinced the wife to let me choose between 4 days in the GBR or 6 in aitutaki. Is the snorkelling on the GBR gonna be legit or do you mainly need to be a diver to see cool stuff?

I still have not been cleared to scuba dive after my heart attack after 15 years away from it I was just getting back into it when I had my heart attack and I am so jealous of you all.....

Never been to GBR. Why not Rarotonga? Recent photos still look good.

Here is a video from some dives in the Yucatan last November. Unfortunately my Go-Pro case leaked on the 2nd dive on each day of diving so there is some fogging in the lens in several parts and it totally screwed up the shark dive video so there is only a small fuzzy glimpse of what was there. As will be evident upon viewing my video skills are amateur at best. Also it is a bit on the long side (27 minutes) but in fairness the original version was 48 minutes.
