Smile Getting an Neptune Aqua Controller Jr

Hey everyone, as mentioned above I am finally getting a controller for my tank. It will have a serial port to wire to my computer and I would like to wire it directly from my tank so that I am monitor it from my computer any suggestions would be much appreciated.
FYI
My tank and computer are in the same room but are about 30 feet away from each other.

Thanks

You should have no problem running a serial cable that long to your ACJR - Serial Cables have much farther distance ability than USB now a days. Check out Active Electronics (should be Canada Wide) for a decent cable, or you can build your own if you are handy with a soldering iron.

Have fun!

Make sure the serial cable you get matched the serial port on the AC jr. IIRC the AC Jr. is a mini din 8 plug which the older Macintosh computers use.
