I have a biocube 29 and I can tell you that if I can start over again I would not choose any of the nano cubes but instead have a nano tank custom made to my specification.

What are your plans with the biocube? FOWLR or reef? If FOWLR then sure it would make a decent tank. If you choose to go reef it's better to have a custom tank rather than one premade. I made so many modification to my biocube that it's not even a biocube anymore.

i have the hqi version. nice tank I've never had a problem with the tank or the pump. the skimmer that comes with it is crap. the light mount has started to fail where the arm connects to the light housing.
