Fresh water fish? Use battery air bubbler.

When I was still doing freshwater I had one day where a scheduled construction event took out my power for 10 hours and I had no issues or losses. This was a 55 gallon angel tank that was decently planted.

reefme has a really good idea of using a battery air pump and that would be all you needed but if you are still concerned then take off the lid and point a fan at the air surface to have better diffusion rates for oxygen. If you're dosing CO2 you should turn that off for duration of the shut down too.
