Margarita snails reproducing?

Does anyone have experience with margarita snails reproducing in their system? I have a reproducing group of snails (continuous for more than a year) that look just like margarita's but from what I've read these snails aren't supposed to live long at tank temperatures let alone reproduce. Any thoughts or other snail type that this could be?
