whoa i don't think i've ever seen that thing 'in bloom' and i've certainly seen it enough! talk about a sleeper coral... that looks sweet.

Yeah the polyps come out for a day or two usually about once a month. I'm not how it works, maybe goes with lunar cycles or something.
It's certainly not the most colorful coral in the tank but is still pretty cool none the less.
