I did not want to send a grand on video cards, I always stay 1 gen behind besides the benchmarking that was done with this mobo was done with thge 6600GT cards, and the 6800 GT cards. there isnt many that do SLI yet

Besides the video cards i wanted were almost $500 each (wholesale costs) I just could not swing it so I settle for the $231 6600 GTs (each)

hahaha, that 9800 pro is pretty damned old

(I have one in my workstation)

the dual 6600's is pretty nice. They have problems running the 6800's together I heard. I still haven't played with it though

I have been building a lot of nice server systems lately. 4tb in storage, dual xeon, dual opteron... 300gb sata drives with 16mb cache... 6gb ram... some nice stuff

Looking at an 8U server case with 40! drive bays - sata hotswap, multi lane backplane... drool factor man!

Hip Hip Hooray!!!

Finally got a new monitor today. 17" LCD. Love it. & awesome price too. Costco had it on special a couple weeks ago & my friend put one on hold for me. Lucky me $279+tax. Finally got rid of my old 14" SVGA.

Anthony

Next - time to upgrade this computer. It's only a 6 yrs old P-II - 350mhz. On its last legs.

I tried running Far Cry with everything CRANKED up to the max. it ran flawlessly with this Combination.. Awesome.. I am extremely happy with the whole setup

Besides with the way the Computer industry is going, when a product comes out, its already OLD, as a couple months something better is out
