DEAD_BY_DAWN is on a distinguished road
Default calothrix algae elimination

Anyone else had to deal with this and thoughts on getting rid
Of it going to try good old chemiclean has everything else had failed.
Water condtions are not a issue and it can still cover a 175 from top to
Bottom in less than a week .

gobytron is an unknown quantity at this point
Default

If water conditions were not an issue, it wouldnt be able to overtake a 175 gallon.

If you can't solve the root of the problem (or identify it) you can always just adjust for it.

I have a serious grape caulerpa issue in my 95.
Tried EVERYTHING to get rid of it but couldn't find the source of the issue (my parameters were all ideal at the time) so I gave up and bought a rabbit fish.

No more caulerpa (at least that I can see).

Just food for thought.

Side note, I think i remember reading that calothrix likes higher salinity and lower flow...
