Default Is this the same as this? Anemone ID

These are the ones that I have - 4 to be exact

And this is the closest thing that I could find with google

They are supposedly called "purple rain anemone" but I couldn't find anything else, what do you guys think? granted that lighting between the tanks is different so colours don't match perfectly :big grin:

Very similar morphs but your nem is more mottled than the big splotches in the google pic. I'd say they are very close. You never know, i you get yours under the same lighting they may morph to look the same. I've seen it happen with a few nems. If you could see the mouth and foot in both pics you could do a better comparison.

Very pretty nem though!

One of my nems got like that, when it came back from been completely bleached. It's like color didn't return evenly.

Your anemone is a Entacmaea quadricolor commonly known as a Green bubble tip anemone. They come in a variety of shades and color patterns.

Thanks snappy! i was fairly certain it was not what I had found, and was also fairly certain it was not very rare but I didn't know what exactly it was. Great to know they are just exceptionally pretty GBTA's
