IMO, the hobby is at a bit of a plateau right now, the past few years have been a wild ride with skimmers, new dosing techniques, and generally hard to find items. Im pretty convinced I can skip a few months at a time on reefbuilders, and not really miss anything relevant when looking back.
Now "ultra corals are a click a way, skimmers have not advanced much, leds are running there coarse, but gen to gen hardly seems to be leaving much to talk about. Im sorry I can only talk about 1 model of dc pump for long, maybe im wrong and out of the loop. Things move pretty quick around here if your not visiting every 2seconds, but when im in ocd mode refreshing every 5 minutes, things move like a glacier.
