Default Lillooet

What can you tell me about here. What a beautiful place it looks like and very reasonable housing prices. Some of the places we have looked at are just stunning. Problem is 2hrs. from Kamloops but at least it has its own hospital.

bad place. Worked for an alarm companey and we put systems in to many places out there due to the alarming amount of crime. Kids mostly breaking into places. Ashcroft is not much better.

nothing there. dirty gas station, I been through there a few times on my bike. and go throught there lots with my new job. no cell service (although I hear that is comming to the whole area)

If you want to be close to kamloops I would say Barrier for the north would be the farest I would go, merrit for south west, cherry creek savona for west, and say salmon arm or vernon the other way. that is about an hour each way. logan lake might be a place for you to look at also, 45 min drive only problem with there is it will be 40 degrees during the day and go down to 5 at night.

don't know what you looking at for a house and such Doug, but there are two on my street for under 300K and a couple for under 400. one has a nice shop and lots of rv parking.

see if this link works

lillooet isnt too bad, hot as hell in the summer and doesnt get the extreme cold in the winter. but if you plan on moving there your gonna either need to have a grow op or a status card. lots of good hunting and fishing in the area too if that interests you.

Alrighty. I showed my wife the comments. Thanks for the replies.

Those are a little rich for us Steve. Actually looking at a nice place in Savona area. Plus have some in Barriere. Our kids have already purchased a very nice place and moving in July. Not sure when we are yet.

savona, cherry creek are both pretty nice and a pretty quick drive to kamloops. have you thought about the clearwater area? its roughly the same distance as lillooet but its a much nicer place.

The fishings great and the drive to Pemberton/Whistler is beautiful. As for the the crime rate, buy a big German Sheppard!
