Default Anyone have any idea on what my zoo's are doing ???

We did a water change today and my purple/pink zoo's now have these wierd brown strings coming from their mouths - just wondering what they are doing? i've never seen this occur in any of the other colonies i have in my tank.
I've posted a picture of what they looked like prior and one after the water change, thank you so much for any information!

Pooping. Mine do it once in a while after I feed them.

I was going to say pooping but I thought I would throw in a little drama just for fun.

That's pretty hard core for just "pooping", a minor expulsion of digested zooxanthellae will happen every so often but most zoas actually don't capture pray so defecation isn't required.

I would run an ALK test, I have had my pink panther palys do something very similar to me when I had a ALK spike. Are they open and happy for you right now?
