Had 2 in a 48G tank, both got along fine until one started to harass the other and wouldn't let it come out to eat so I target fed it. The more dominant one ate like a pig and eventually was twice the size of the other. A sally lightfoot crab finally caught the big one after 2 years and munched it down. The smaller one was out more often and flourished in the tank for about 3.5 years before it died of a dinoflagellate outbreak (dinos in the water column).

The biggest issue I've had with them is they like to jump. The one I have is in a tank that is covered. I've had it for a little over a year now. I have a friend who has several and they are all at least 3 years old.

I have 2 in my 65g that get along very well, and have resided there for almost 3 years.

Talented carpet surfers, these guys. I've had two, and each escaped, despite egg-crate. I love them, but I don't know if I'll try again.

Died after a year from an anemone that wiped out my first tank.
