And just...wow. I'd like to say I'll check their other work out but I've been looping this track lol.

I'm sure you enjoy the Cure's Disintegration album as well. Nicely layered too.
the track i posted is by far the best on there just released album. my favorite song by them is this one

Explosions in the sky - Have you passed through this night

Other good post rock bands

Mogwai - Scotland's shame

Godspeed you! black emperor is good if you like "apocalyptic symphonies" for lack of a better term.

Godspeed you! black emperor- The Dead Flag blues

Godspeed you! black emperor - BBF3

I also really like the song static but i can't find a link that does it justice.

Mono- Lost snow

Strangely it's been a smooth transition from working with Louis CK in the background for days to Explosions in the Sky

This album at least reminds me of the twisted lovechild of The Cure, Interpol and Slowdive. That's a good thing.

Something Epic:
Wintersleep - Miasmal Smoke and the Yellow-bellied Freaks

Something grungy:
Moderat - New Error

And a little some'n-some'n with some twinkle to it:
The National - Secret Meeting
"The National can do no wrong."
Animal Collective - Summertime Clothes

Something local:
Black Mountain - Set Us Free

Because it's different, and I like it:
Jai Paul - BTSTU

Keepin' it classy:
Erol Alkan & Boys Noize - Waves (Chilly Gonzales Remake)

Just because:
Cœur de Pirate - Wicked Games

Something a little more upbeat:
Ben Howard - The Wolves

And now back to reading papers...
