Default Anemone hitchhiker ID

Hi there,

So I've been setting up my new 75 gallon (tank thread will start soon) and one of the new pieces of rock has some kind of anemone on it. I got the Rock from Gold's last week and didn't think to ask where it came from.

Here's a shot of the anemone, it isn't really fully out yet but this is the best I've seen it so far.

Any thoughts on what it might be?

Looks like a Rock Flower... have you tried to feed it? It should invert...

Haven't tried feeding it yet. Not sure what you mean when you say it'll invert... other than aptasia this is my first anemone

It will turn into a bubble, and suck in all its tentacles...

if it's a rock flower, you lucked out, especially a red one. Do feed it with small pieces of mysis shrimp or even brine shrimp and if it's happy, it will grow beautifully to 4-5" diameter. Good luck!
