It may be fine. I would get some calibration fluids, do a calibration and then put the calibrated probe in one of the packets and see if it reads what it should be. The calibration fluids are really cheap.

Soak it in pH 7.0 calibration fluid for 2 or 3 hours turned off first. Then go through the steps to calibrate using a new packet of pH 7.0 and pH 10.0. If it calibrates, then you're golden. Check calibration after by dipping back into the packets and see if they read accordingly. Make sure to rinse in RO between packets.

Awesome. That's a big swing though. Are you going to do something about it or leave it?

I'm going to leave it alone.Things are stable as far as corals and fish go.I may try to run the skimmer air intake outside to see if that makes any difference.

If not, and you have a spare pump on your doser (if you have a doser), you could replace some of your cal/alk dosing with nightly kalk dosing. My tank was way down at pH 7.2 in the mornings, outside air didn't help. I started adding kalk and now it sits at 7.8 in the morning. Not great, but certainly a lot better.
