Default Clam advice

I come home from work to find my clam hanging over the rock ledge it was on its got a good hold of the rock but its almost upside down ....What to do ????
I heard bad things happen if you pull them off the rock ....just let it fall on its own ...its still opens all the way even vertical kinda looks cool

the clam it has moved closer to the front i put putty around to make a nice spot but it didnt stop it

More putty IMO .. try some small live rock rubble to help kinda make it more natural looking. You should be able to nudge it back in place if it's still attached. Yeah, you don't really want it pulling on its byssal gland too much.
