I think you are correct for the reasons you stated.
Also, because of the large number of large fish, in the event that 300 needed to remove his fish to a QT for a while 20 is simply too small.

i think 36"-48" QT as well . now i using 40w aqua ultraviolet or i need put one more 40w?

here is last photo of crosshatch trigger he look beautiful and healthy but I only find one redspot (see his belly) ! someone told me he get Heart attack ??
