Default riceboy's office tank build

Well since I've been reading a bunch of these little tank builds and i'm always at work late its time to bring the hobby to work . I have always loved the look of a cube tank, and trying to go with a more simplicity look, ie no sump no power heads just a canister filter and a tank. I have always been inspired by a local tank that was super clean I'm sure you guys have seen this tank , heres the link to the build sorry for posting the link from another site.

http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=553708

So I went to golds and got it started.

Tank specs.

12"x12"x12"cube (kien this is a cube tank lol)

2 1/2"bulk heads

hydor inline heater

1 rena xp L

10 lbs of live rock (all from my current sump)

par 38 led bulb

I'm trying to keep the less rock look in the display so most of the rocks will be in the canister filter. The plan is to do a 10% water change weekly and the ATO will consist of a water bottle me and a line on the tank lol. Gonna go with the KISS theory on this tank lol. Let me know what you guys think. Oh ya i'm going to be keeping one clown and a couple of zoas but mainly sps dominant. lets hope all goes well lol.

I am for sure without a doubt making one of these tanks. It looks so nice not having tubes lines and HOB all over the tank so elegant!

So cute!

Oh, right. The tank. I was looking at the photos of the baby. Look at that little face!

Okay Shelley . . . Focus.

Awesome little tank. The plumbing confuses the heck out of me. I'm going to have to read the rc thread to figure it out, aren't I?

Lol that's my nephew. Cutest little guy I'd have to say.

The plumbing is quite simple I'm not using a sump but rather a canister filter with live rock, carbon bag and gfo bag. Can't really have a full sump and plumbing at work lol.

Just waiting on the contest to start so I can start lol.
